First, make sure your license is active and verified. SSH to the server and run the following commands (in that order):

• wget http://www.directadmin.com/setup.sh
  (if wget doesn't work on a FreeBSD system, try fetch)
• chmod 755 setup.sh
• ./setup.sh

You will be prompted for a client ID number, license ID number, and hostname .

Installing DA on a VPS?
when asked if eth0 is your interface answer NO, and when asked for your interface enter venet0:0
