HowTo :: change the list of allowed IPs to access Webmin

If you've locked yourself out due to IP restrictions, you need to change Webmin's list of allowed IP addresses.

SSH to the server and login as root, using your favorite Linux text editor, do the following:

Find the directive: allow= or deny=

If the allow= directive exists, it contains a list of all addresses and networks that are allowed to connect to Webmin. Similarly, the deny= directive contains addresses that are not allowed to connect. After modifying this file, run the following command for the changes to take effect:
