SSH to the server and do the following:

1. mkdir -p /home/rpm-tmp
2. cd /home/rpm-tmp
3. rpm2cpio dummy.rpm | cpio -idmv

DONE!

Now the files have been extracted into the /home/rpm-tmp directory.

WARNING
If you extract a RPM binary package in the root (/) folder, the files will be extracted into the same locations they would be if you installed the RPM.
