Many people believe that the best cure for any technical issue is to restart/reboot the system. This is, in fact, a very effective technique for Window uses. But NOT for systems that use Linux Operating System (OS). Rebooting the server should only be used:

  1. after upgrading the Kernel .
  2. the OS becomes ir-responsive, or crashed due to system or hardware failure.
