If you get any of the following error messages when you try to connect to MySQL
server
:
ERROR 2003: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'host_name' (111)
ERROR 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket
'/tmp/mysql.sock' (111)
Client does not support authentication protocol
requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client
Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
Host
... is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server
Access denied for user 'root'@'' (using password: YES)
Access denied for user ''@'unknown'
Access to database denied
