| Update Plan
This plan provides a once a month update to all of the applications installed in your server during the month you signed up for. The following list of applications and services will be upgraded when available. It is crucial to keep your operation system and applications up to date to achieve maximum performance and delivery of data.

Services
The following applications and/or services will be upgraded on your server when they become available and supported by your control plan:
- Apache and modules
- Php
- MySQL
- Control Panel (CPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, and WebMin)
- Mail server and Anti-Virus scanner
- OpenSSH
- OpenSSL
- Perl
- BIND
- Binaries, libraries and related dependencies
- Other applications such as:
- APF (inbound and outbound port filtering)
- BFD
- Tripwire
- ZendOptimizer
- eAccelerator
- Rootkit Hunter
- Chkrootkit
- Mod Security, and
- Mod Eevasive
Exclusively Diagnose a problem with your server and inform you of the issue. When we get your authorization/permission, we'll fix the problem with your server.
NOTE
- The Update Plan is a one-time project/service per server with the following advantages:
- This plan is designed to strictly deliver the services mentioned above. It doesn't include any repair or fixing of problems, unless we get your authorization and pre payment.
- If you purchase this plan, the fees for the other two Server Management Plans -- xPress (hourly) and/or Server
Setup -- will be offered at
10% off the original price; this is in case you experience technical failure with your server and need our technicians to fix it.
- Response time: 15 minutes - 24 hours.
- The Update Plan is a follow up to the prior ServerTune Plan work we did on your server.
- Managed Server is for your own server and not a hosting client.
- We do not and will not reboot your server without prior permission from you.
- You are responsible for the maintenance and integrity of your own backups and restorations. It is in your best interest and strongly encouraged that you maintain backup copies of your clients' files in an alternative location other than /home directory.
- If you modify the settings and/or any system files/applications, you are responsible for any technical issues or failures that may result from those modifications.
- There are a few technical issues that we won't be able to solve due to, for example, a hardware failure or an operation system problem that would require your data center to repair it.
